women deserve more from healthcare
For too long, women have been told that debilitating fatigue, disrupted sleep, changing cycles, weight resistance, mood changes, low libido, brain fog, and simply not feeling like themselves are normal parts of being a woman.
Or worse—that everything looks “normal,” so there must not be anything wrong. We believe there is a better way to care for women.
Rooted Women’s Health was created to bring together the best of modern medicine with the foundational pieces of health that are too often left out of the conversation. We look beyond a single symptom or lab value. We take the time to understand your hormones, metabolic health, nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, environment, medical history, and the season of life you're in.
Because these things don't exist independently—and neither should your healthcare.
Our mission is to provide women with thoughtful, evidence-informed healthcare that helps them understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and feel supported through every season of womanhood.
That means longer appointments. Comprehensive evaluation. Individualized treatment. Honest conversations about benefits, risks, and options.
It also means recognizing that sometimes lifestyle is medicine—and sometimes medicine is medicine.
When hormone therapy is appropriate, we use it thoughtfully. When additional testing is warranted, we investigate. When nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, or metabolic health need attention, those become part of the treatment plan too. There is no one-size-fits-all protocol here.
Stepping outside of the traditional insurance model allows us to protect something increasingly difficult to find in healthcare: time. Time to listen, ask better questions, to explain your options and time to build a plan withyou, rather than rushing through a checklist. Our goal isn't simply to get your labs into a reference range. It's to help you understand what's happening in your body and create a thoughtful path forward.
Our Mission
I'm a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Rooted Women's Health. My passion is helping women understand what their bodies are telling them and creating personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that help them feel like themselves again. Throughout my years in healthcare, I noticed a common theme: women were often told their symptoms were "normal" or that their lab work looked "fine," despite struggling with fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, poor sleep, anxiety, irregular cycles, infertility, or the challenging transition into perimenopause and menopause. I knew there had to be a better approach.
At Rooted Women's Health, I combine comprehensive laboratory evaluation, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and hormone therapy—including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) when appropriate—to address the root causes of symptoms rather than simply masking them. My goal is to partner with each woman to create an individualized plan that supports long-term health, vitality, and confidence through every stage of life.
I care for women across a wide range of life stages, including fertility optimization, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause. I believe the best care happens when evidence-based medicine and lifestyle interventions work together—not in opposition. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Messiah University and my Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University, where I became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I continue to pursue advanced education in women's hormone health and menopause care to ensure my patients receive thoughtful, up-to-date, evidence-based treatment. Recent BHRT training was completed through BHRT Training Academy.
Outside of the clinic, you'll most likely find me in the mountains skiing, fishing or hiking with my husband and our three young children. These experiences continue to shape my belief that true health isn't about perfection—it's about building sustainable habits that allow women to thrive in every season of life.
I'm honored to walk alongside women on their health journey and look forward to helping you feel informed, empowered, and rooted in your health.
Meet Liz
